What is ISLAM?who is ALLAH?Who were Muslims?Who is Prophet Muhammad(saw)?

ASSALAMU ALAIKUM WA RAHMATHULLAHI WA BHARAKATHUHU,            

      In this we learn about the definition of Islam,I think this is very useful for non-muslim brothers and sisters who were eager about studying Islam.

WHAT ISLAM MEANS?

               Islam is derived from an arabic word which means peace.Islam means surrender or submission to the will of GOD

Indeed, the religion in the sight of Allah is Islam. And those who were given the Scripture did not differ except after knowledge had come to them - out of jealous animosity between themselves. And whoever disbelieves in the verses of Allah , then indeed, Allah is swift in [taking] account.
                                                                                 QURAN 3:19

WHO WERE MUSLIMS?

                The followers of Islam were known as Muslims.Followers of Prophet Muhammad (saw).

             There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] the religion. The right course has become clear from the wrong. So whoever disbelieves in Taghut and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy handhold with no break in it. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing.  

                                                                                    QURAN 2:256

WHO IS ALLAH?

                ALLAH is an Arabic word which means GOD who has no parents and no children ,He is the only God who created us.

                    In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful.

1. Say, “He is God, the One.

2. God, the Absolute.

3. He begets not, nor was He begotten.

4. And there is none comparable to Him.”

                                                                  -SURAH 112

WHO IS PROPHET MUHAMMAD(saw)?

                He was the last messenger of Allah who told us about Allah and spread Islam all over the world.

                        O Prophet, truly We have sent thee as a Witness, and Bearer of glad tidings, and a Warner,
